Demand explodes for Lightenna's Drupal services
Drupal's popularity has been steadily growing over the last 12 months, and it was a little over a year ago that Lightenna got involved and started delivering high-quality Drupal sites.
In recent weeks we've seen demand shoot up as more and more users become familiar with this content management system and aware of just how powerful it is.
We don't plug Drupal as the Internet Panacea: there are some things that haven't yet evolved sufficiently to be used 'in anger'. Opinion is divided, but we feel that while Drupal's eCommerce modules are fine for implementing small web shops, we wouldn't be happy building an online mega-mart like Amazon or Dabs, until the node structure is better optimised.
But the domain of less suitable websites is shrinking: each new revision of Drupal makes the CMS easier to implement qualitative online services. We're particularly excited about the Web 2.0/Ajaxy goodness that's already appearing and later this month, we hope to publish our own UI module to the open source community.
