Topology
A collection of nodes, where each node is either:
- Office: A single main office,
- Home: A remote site with one computer, or
- Conference: A remote site with multiple computers
LAN
An Ethernet or other fast IP-based network connecting machines in the Office.
Internet
All nodes are connected by an insecure IP based network. The remote nodes could be using wireless, ADSL or Dial-up connections.
